Get a front row to history! The Bunker Hill Committee has set aside limited tickets for public purchase to view the Beach Landing reenactment aboard a local schooner! This unique, once-in-a-lifetime experience is the only official on-the-water ticket, offering the best possible viewing of the Beach Landing scenes.
Be aboard the “HMS Lively “ as she discovers the fortification by the local patriots and fires her cannon to disrupt their efforts, beginning a battle sequence that plays out with 6 local vessels and 4 small boats assaulting the shoreline.
The “HMS Lively” is played by Schooner “Ardelle”, a 58-foot, 49 passenger sailing vessel built and captained by master shipwright and USCG licensed captain Harold Burnham.
Tickets for boat viewing are $150 and limited seating is still available for the morning Beach Landing on both Saturday, June 21 and Sunday, June 22. All proceeds from these sails go toward the cost of putting on the Battle of Bunker Hill 250th events in Gloucester.
